"Mooney's Sports Bar & Grill" Townline, New York

Mooney’s Sports Bar and Grill is a local chain restaurant in Western New York, that specializes in Mac & Cheese and also other varieties of bar food. For the sake of the review, I will be explaining my experiences at the Mooney’s located on 6513 Broadway Street, in Lancaster, New York. Getting right into the juicy details, Mooney’s food is absolutely delicious. Each plate that they make has the perfect

combination of flavors. It is like they handcraft herbs and spices to make each dish taste like a gift from God. They also have many different varieties of foods. For instance, when it comes to their world class mac & cheese, Mooney’s has a wide variety of flavors. It is crazy to even think how they make these things taste so good with the flavors they use. They offer “Buffalo Mac”, “Taco Mac”, and other flavors that are just as tasty as the next. They also have a variety of burgers, sandwiches and salads. Mooney’s definitely has some of the best bar food in the area. When it comes to portions on each plate; they are very, very generous. I am a heavy eater and when it comes to eating the whole portion of what is on my plate, I generally can finish it very easily. I will be honest when I say that it is extremely difficult to finish a whole mac & cheese from Mooney’s. I have been to this restaurant many of times and I have only finished a whole portion once, and I felt lousy after because of how much food I consumed. Their prices are excellent as well. One will not break the bank when going to Mooney’s for a nice meal because of how big their portions are, and how reasonably cheap it is. I have only one complaint when it comes to Mooney’s. My only problem with Mooney’s is every now and then I am not treated like a paying costumer. Every now and then I am treated very poorly, like it is a hassle for them to make me food and take my order. For instance, when sometimes when I order my food on the phone for takeout, I am given attitude for some odd reason, even though I am very polite on the phone. That is my only complaint about Mooney’s and it is a shame but overall I am very pleased with the restaurant. I would definitely recommend everyone to try Mooney’s Sports Bar and Grill.

"IHOP"

When it comes to restaurants, I almost never complain. I am an avid fan of the food industry and I show the utmost respect to the workers in the kitchen and the waiting staff. In my 18 years of being on this Earth, I can confidently say that one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant has came from an IHOP restaurant. I have been to about five IHOP’s throughout my life and I can say that they are awful. To start off, each time I have gone, my waiting staff has been awful. Each time I have gone to an IHOP, my waiting staff was both, rude and unreliable. One time I was ordering and I was treated like a second-class citizen. I was outraged, they gave me serious attitude. They acted like I was disturbing them for giving them my order. In my experience, the waiting staff at IHOP does not believe in the motto that “The customer is always right.”. Continuing on with my dissatisfaction at IHOP, my food was downright terrible. It took forever for the food to come out to me. On top of it all, after all of that time waiting for my food, the food was cold! I could not believe it. I almost shed a tear because of how distraught I was about the situation. When it comes to prices; they are extremely overpriced. My sister, mother and I went out for breakfast once and ordered simple meals and our total bill was around $50.00. Our food and dining experience were awful and not worth $50.00. I would not recommend going to an IHOP ever. I’ve talked to many, many people about IHOP and they said they loved it but me personally I would not recommend it. If you are really looking for a good breakfast, that is fast and cheap, I would recommend going to “America’s Diner”, for a fairly price breakfast at Denny’s. Again, I can confidently say that it is in your best interest to not go to an IHOP.

"Tully's Good Times" Batavia, New York

Tully’s Good Times is a chain restaurant located all around the Western New York region and is well known for their delicious food and “Good Times”. Though there are many restaurant located throughout the region, I will specifically be talking about my experience at the restaurant located on

1449 French Road, in Depew, New York.  To start off, the dining area was remarkably clean. There were also a ton of television playing a variety of sports. Overall the dining experience was beautiful because of how many televisions were playing at the same time. The food was exceptional as well. Tully’s Good Times is well known for their famous “Tully’s Tenders”. The tenders come out on a nice big plate, with a side of fries and honey mustard. Each tender was beyond flaky and were nice and crispy. My father and I went to Tully’s once and he got a steak and made the remark that it was one of the best steaks he has ever eaten because of how perfect the seasoning was on it. Their food is utterly delicious. One can make the observation on how each plate is made perfectly. Tully’s also makes their food in the most convenient amount of time. When enjoying a meal out with people, you do not want your food to come out too fast, but you also do not want it to take forever. Tully’s has the perfect recipe and prepares their food in the perfect amount of time. Prices are also superb and do not break the bank which is why I recommend Tully’s Good Times to everyone. Overall, Tully’s is absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend going there if you would like a nice, fairly priced, and fun meal. Tully’s Good Times definitely lives up to their name and will give anyone a “Good Time”.

"Sport of Kings Family Restaurant" Batavia, New York

Sport of Kings Family Restaurant is a quality restaurant located on 419 West Main Street in Batavia, New York, that serves quality food at a very affordable price. Sport of Kings has been involved in my life ever since I was a child. My mother and father used to take me there all the time for their great food

and quality dining experience. Honestly everything about Sport of Kings is perfect and quite frankly, I have no negatives when it comes to anything at this restaurant. To start off, when you walk into the restaurant, everyone is so friendly and there are many, many tables. It is like that old diner feeling but still in a modern restaurant. Their menus offer almost anything you can imagine. Sport of Kings is one of those few places that is not a chain, where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at anytime, anyday. Their menus have anything on it from, pancakes, french toast, chicken fingers and even to steak. I highly recommend the chicken fingers and chocolate milkshake. Getting to the taste and prices, the taste of everything at Sportos is amazing. You can just tell they take a lot of pride in making each customer satisfied with their dining experience. The prices are amazing too. You are not breaking the budget when going to Sportos. For instance, when getting a whole chicken finger sub, with fries, the price is $7.00. The deals there are superb. Sport of Kings is also a very clean place. It is well kept and even the bathrooms are nice which is a sign that they take pride in their restaurant. I highly recommend Sport of Kings anytime. "The Astronomical Pancake House" Williamsburg, Virginia

The Astronomical Pancake House located on 5437 Richmond Road in Williamsburg, Virginia is the perfect place for anyone to enjoy a delicious meal. I was in Williamsburg to visit Colonial Williamsburg as we decided to go and get some breakfast before we headed out. We noticed The Astronomical Pancake House and quickly turned in to enjoy a quick meal. When seated, you are given a glass of

water. The place was fairly neat and it almost felt like I was eating at a top of the line restaurant. When I saw the menu, I wanted pancakes and when I went to the pancakes section I saw that 2 pancakes were $7.99. I was disturbed even more when I saw that the eggs were $5.99. I ordered Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes and I now realized why these prices were the way they are. I am not kidding you when I say these pancakes were the best pancakes of my life. To start off, they were absolutely ginormous. They were literally falling off of the plate, that is how big they were. The way the cinnamon swirl, and frosting just mixed together was just too perfect. It felt like I was biting into a cinnamon roll with each bite. I felt like I was in a state of euphoria, or a cloud nine. It was beautiful. My parents also ordered food that was great as well. When my step dad ordered his eggs he was upset by the price but when he actually got the huge plate of eggs the man was very impressed. My mother’s blueberry pancakes were just as huge, and impressive as my pancakes. Everything about The Astronomical Pancake House was stellar, and I will go on record to saying that this place has the best breakfast, prices and portion possible. If you ever get the chance, make sure you try The Astronomical Pancake House in Williamsburg, Virginia. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

"El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant" Clarence, New York

El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant is located in Clarence, New York on 9780 Main Street. El Ranchito offers very delicious Mexican gourmet. This place is extremely mexican and just being in this restaurant makes me believe I am actually in Mexico. When seated, you are offered a bowl of tortilla chips, with

many different choices of hot sauce and salsa. These chips are endless so you can eat as much as you would like. Their menus are full of different Mexican foods and each food option is guaranteed delicious. The portion sizes are phenomenal because most meals come with a large entree, and then a side of beans and rice. Taste is a whole different ball game. El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant, offers some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten in my life. Each bite causes the taste buds in my mouth to melt and feel like they are in a food heaven. This gourmet Mexican food makes me feel like I have reached a state of Nirvana. The prices are just as good as the food. One would feel like they are stealing from El Ranchito with these prices. On a more serious note, it is important to highlight a few main topics. Their prices are fantastic because you get such a big portion of food for a very nice price. Also, the food is fantastic. I really have no negatives about El Ranchito. The dining experience is perfect and even the bathrooms are clean. I really do recommend this restaurant to anyone because I am positive everyone will love El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant. If you ever have the urge to eat delicious, succulent, perfect Mexican food, I recommend you go to El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant.

"Ficarella's Pizzeria" Batavia, New York

Ficarella’s Pizzeria located on 21 Liberty Street, in Batavia, New York, is an excellent pizza place that the whole family can enjoy. Their pizza is very interesting in the way that they cut their pizzas. Instead of the usual triangle cut that most pizza places use, Ficarella’s uses an unorthodox cut that slices a circular pizza into squares. Truthfully, I like the way they cut their pizza and I think it makes pieces of pizza more interesting. Diving into taste, their food is marvelous. Being honest, I usually do not get their regular pizza when I go there. I like to get the “Buffalo Wing Pizza” with grilled barbecue wings. I am telling you right now, that this combination is one of the best things that one will ever taste in their lifetime. Their “Buffalo Wing Pizza” is very interesting. They use a mild, medium or hot sauce as the base of the pizza. They then apply a ton of bleu cheese and regular cheese all of the pizza. To top it all off, they mix in some chicken in hot sauce. This pizza is delicious. Their prices are pretty reasonable and do not break the budget when getting a meal. Another great benefit is that they have a great special on a personal pizza, six wings and a one liter drink. One can buy this meal for about 10 dollars, and if you want to make it a specialty pizza you only have to add about 3 dollars. It is definitely a great deal. I only have two problems when it comes to Ficarella’s Pizzeria. I think their crust is a little chewy and after awhile it gets kind of hard to eat their crust. I also do not like their dining area. Unlike their competitor Main Street Pizza, Ficarella’s has a small little area with only a couple tables. You can tell Ficarella’s is a pizzeria and not a restaurant as well. Overall Ficarella’s Pizzeria is definitely worth the buy and I highly recommend it when you have the urge to try a great pizza.

"Main Street Pizza" Batavia, New York

Main Street Pizza in Batavia, New York, located on 206 East Main Street, is an excellent restaurant for parties, dinner and just a quick tasty treat. This family restaurant is perfect for everyone and has a ton of different food options to chose from. Everything about Main Street Pizza is just superb. Diving right into the taste, it is absolutely amazing. This pizza has an extremely succulent sweet sauce that just makes your taste buds melt. The cheese is also just astonishing as they liberally apply a ton of cheese to the pizza. The cheese is super stringy and mixes perfectly with the sweet red sauce. The crust is just as remarkable as the other things. Main Street makes their crust super soft and easy to chew. There are also air bubbles that make the pizza look just as delicious as it tastes. Their pizza is amazing and they also offer many other food choices. Being from Buffalo, New York, I am an expert on chicken wings. I am willing to go on record that Main Street Pizza’s chicken wings, are the best wings in this beautiful country. They are super saucy and have a wide variety of flavors. Prices at Main Street Pizza are also very reasonable. Looking at their prices, an amateur pizza eater may think they are a little pricey but I assure you that it is a great deal. Their pizzas are huge. They are much bigger than an average pizzerias pizza which is why it is a little more expensive but at the end it is definitely worth it. A large anything at Main Street is twice the size of a large at any other pizza place. Main Street Pizza also offers an excellent dining area that is very clean and nice. Overall, their food is superb and it is definitely worth a try. I suggest that everyone try out Main Street Pizza!
